Your Community Matters – January 2021

Happy 2021 Northwestern Alberta!  I am thrilled to have turned the last page of the 2020 calendar!  Although we can expect challenges in this New Year, there is a collective sigh of relief to be moving on!

This time of year, people are often setting goals, planning ahead, looking forward to the possibilities, and imagining success!  I urge each of us to continue with that sentiment, as we know better days are ahead!  The Community Foundation of Northwestern Alberta will be there with you!  We are planning ahead for greatness in our region!  Sustainability.  Growth.  Learning.  We are structuring our days to foster development. Connecting. Listening. Strategizing.  We are focusing on identifying need, sourcing solutions, and creating new ways to do impactful things!

Inspired by the many communities we support,  we want to ensure that even through these difficult times, we help them find a path forward of resiliency and sustainability.  Along with our spirited supporters, we are designing and anticipating a story of building communities like no other for 2021!  What is your part in this story?   Join us as we fill the pages!

Wishing each of you across Northwestern Alberta a safe and healthy 2021!  May you and yours flourish as we bounce back together!

Warmly,

Laura LaValley, CEO
