Laura LaValley
Chief Executive Officer
Laura is inspired by community builders, thrives in teamwork, and loves to make meaningful connections.
Born in Grande Prairie, and raised on a farm near DeBolt, Laura has strong connections to our region. From her deep seated pioneer family roots and her long time volunteer work, to her lengthy career in local not for profit organizations, Laura is a great resource for information and helping others leave their legacy.

Rhonda Thomson
Administration and Grants Manager
Rhonda is very passionate about community and believes having a sense of belonging there is important.
Born and raised in the County of Grande Prairie, she attended GPRC after high school in the Office Administration Program. Rhonda has always been dedicated about supporting others and loves her position at the Foundation.

Brittany Kelsey
Development Manager
Brittany Kelsey has been working in the nonprofit sector since 2016 at the Philip J. Dinosaur Museum, which included leading and coordinating community outreach, communications and events, and since 2019 at the Art Gallery of Grande Prairie as the Manager of Development and Administration.

Shelley Younger
Financial Controller
Shelley Younger provides over 20 years of experience within our Foundation. She is an integral part of our work, ensuring accuracy and efficiency for all of our stakeholders. She has been instrumental with the integration of new processes, systems and brings analytical expertise to our team! Shelley is a long-time Grande Prairie resident who enjoys travel, theatre and her family!

Emma Robins
Marketing Assistant
Emma is aiding in social media and marketing for the Foundation. Born and raised in the County of Grande Prairie, she is excited to be helping the Foundation and her city. Emma is taking English, Film, and Indigenous Studies at the University of Toronto. Emma enjoys working in the non-for-profit sector and hopes to do so after she graduates.
