Ways to Give

Our donors come from every walk of life with just as many reasons for wanting to give. We work alongside each one of our donors, offering flexible and personalized plans that suite your individual needs.

1. Give to an existing fund
Make a donation in support of community needs. We would be happy to guide you through the various options available. You may already have a preference and we would be pleased to honour your wishes.

2. Create a legacy fund
It is easy to establish a fund to fit your needs. You may want your fund to benefit a particular charitable organization(s) that holds special meaning to you, an issue or urgent community need that is important to you, or the community or region in general. You can also decide how involved you want to be.

3. Make a Memorial or Tribute Donation
Donations are made to the Foundation to recognize achievements and mark milestones, and to keep memories alive.

4. Plan now, give later
Thinking about what will happen to your assets once you’re gone can strengthen your community for your children, grandchildren and future generations. Planned Giving ensures that those causes that matter most to you most to you can be realized in your estate plan. It may be as simple as naming the Community Foundation in your will; or you may wish to establish a fund today, with an option to add to it over your lifetime and the remaining to be provided through your estate. Whatever you chose, the Community Foundation is happy to work with you and/or your professional advisor to craft a plan so your estate is invested according to your wishes.
