Community Kitchen and Foodbank Fund

2019 Vital Signs shows 1 in 10 households experience food insecurity in Alberta. Household food insecurity refers to inadequate or insecure access to food because of financial constraints.

This fund is designated to support the Salvation Army food bank needs and the Community Kitchen hot meal program.

“The goal of the Community Kitchen is to provide three hot meals per day, seven days per week to anyone in need. Our intention is to serve our community with dignity, respect, and compassion while providing a safe and secure family-oriented environment.”
