“Giving back to a community in which we have lived and thrived has always been a challenge. A little volunteer time here and there is but a start. Grande Prairie is a wonderful place to live and the community has been kind to us over the years. Our three sons grew up here and now we have grandchildren here in Grande Prairie. Thanks to the rise of the Community Foundation, we found a way to give back in a meaningful way for years to come. We started our family fund a few years ago. We’ve been able to put a few dollars aside each year to grow the fund to the point where it is now generating funds that can be used for grant making. We are excited to know that our fund give back to the community year after year, far into the future. Thank you to the Community Foundation for helping us say thank you to the community!”
