Hannah Lee Andrea Ouellette was born March 12, 1997, to proud parents Tammy and Andre Ouellette, big brother Keifer, and big sister Madeline. As the baby of the family, Hannah liked the attention and got away with much more than Keifer and Madeline. Hannah was determined, demanding, and she always got the last word. She enjoyed teasing and was empathetic and compassionate.
Long- time Grande Prairie residents, Clyde and Mary Blackburn, strongly believe in community and that making it stronger starts at home. Married for 38 years, the Blackburn's raised their three sons in the community.
“We were honouring his wishes, shortly before his passing, my father approached Cathy and I and said: “I feel I’ve got far more out of Grande Prairie than I have put into it. I want to ensure a portion of my estate is invested back into the community – you guys figure out how to do it” says son Bob Beattie.
