Ari Evans is attending University of Alberta and is taking Nursing. Ari received funding from the Horse Lake Education Fund and the Jean Duplessis Family Legacy Fund.
“This award means I do not have to take as much debt on during the course of my education and reduces
my debt load after graduation. I will be able to afford a house and a family and put down roots in Northern Alberta sooner. This award also removes some of the stress associated with school – which is hard enough without having to worry about how to fund it in the first place!”
