Your Community Matters – February 2019
Welcome to "Your Community Matters" for February 2019, where we provide updates and information from the Community Foundation of Northwestern Alberta.
Diane and Fletcher Bootle Family Fund
As a founding member of the Community Foundation of Northwestern Alberta, we have supported them since its inception. We are creating the Diane and Fletcher Bootle Family Fund to invest in the community which has been good to us since we came to Grande Prairie years ago.
Casey & Finnigan’s Fantastic Furry Friends Fund
Giving back to the community that has supported them and continuing a legacy of bolstering the welfare of animals, is the focus of a new Community Foundation of Northwestern Alberta fund being established by a soon-to-be-wed Grande Prairie couple.
Where are they now? Kelsey MacPhee
Currently working in Egypt as a full-time French teacher, Kelsey MacPhee says a student award through the Community Foundation of Northwestern Alberta played a big part in her journey to Africa.
