Leaving a Legacy – Ed Boyce Memorial Fund
It’s been said that home is the starting place of love, hope and dreams. That’s exactly what Joyce and Ed Boyce found when they came to the Peace Country 43 years ago. It’s also the legacy Joyce and her family created with the Community Foundation of Northwestern Alberta after Ed’s passing in 2010.

2000 Alberta Summer Games Legacy Fund
In the summer of 2000, more than 3,500 volunteers from the Peace Country came together to support young athletes from across the province as they competed in the Alberta Summer Games. It was a true testament of what our region can do when we put our minds to it.

We are fortunate to have Aquatera as our Silver Sponsor for the Sexsmith & District Community Foundation Play for Community Golf & Fundraiser.
Community Hub for Seniors
Seniors play a huge role in the sustainability of our communities. They shop, use services which employ people, volunteer, and in fact, many organizations would be hard pressed to function without their older volunteers.
