Dave and Elizabeth Chomik and their family arrived in Grande Prairie in September of 1983. To repay the community for everything it has given them, the Chomik family has created a legacy at the Community Foundation of Greater Grande Prairie, with the recently established Trumpeter Hotel & Meeting Centre Fund.
The Community Foundation of Greater Grande Prairie inspires philanthropy by providing a way for anyone to leave a lasting legacy to our community through permanent endowment building, responsible grants and leadership to meet our community’s needs for today, tomorrow and forever.
One in three adults have made – or would make – a bequest to a charity if asked.
